Corporate History - CMI Chamartin Immobilien AG
The Meermann company began renting and selling real estate in 1978. In 1981, the company developed and completed its first self-guided construction project in the Westphalian town of Werl, Germany.
Meermann extended its operations to Berlin in 1992, when it began developing and building real estate in Germany's capital. In the mid-1990s, they divided real-estate sales in Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia into two separate companies.
Meermann also founded various project companies that were merged into a single holding company, Meermann Bau- und Invest GmbH, in 2002. In 2006, the Madrid-based Chamartin group acquired an interest in the Meermann group and now holds 95% of the shares in the Chamartín Meermann group.
